Today is Monday, February 22, 2021.  Today is a B  day.  

Today in homeroom juniors will be working on English ACT prep and there is no travel for all other students.

 

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Team for an incredible season.  The girls finished runner up in the Division 2 Sectional Final game held this past weekend.  The girls team finished the year with a 16-8 record.  Congratulations lady warriors!

 

Senior Shirts are in!  If you ordered and did not get your Senior T-shirt on Friday, Stop by Mr. Thurston's room and pick yours up.

 

Students interested in taking Technical College or UW courses in the Fall (1st) semester of 2021, need to let the high school know of this intention by March 1st.  The Technical College System & the UW System have two separate programs; Start College Now (WITC) & the Early College Credit Program (UWEC-BC).  Students can get the appropriate forms and more information from Mr. Shomion in Student Services or on the RLHS website under “Student Services Forms.”.  You must do this before next Monday, March 1st if you are considering this possibility for next Fall (1st) semester. 

 

Seniors: Need help on starting and/or completing your FAFSA form for next year?  Remember the FAFSA is the form you need to complete to potentially receive financial aid such as grants or loans for your post-secondary education.  On Wednesday night (Feb. 23) the Wisconsin Technical College System will be presenting a "virtual" FAFSA event called "College Goal WI."  This event is open to any student/family looking to get help on their FAFSA, no matter which school they are planning to attend - Technical or 4-year institution.  The event is free, but you do need to register in advance online.  For information on this, please stop-in Student Services.

 

 

Today: All International Club members and those who are interested in being part of our club, please attend our student sharing session today after school in room 142. One of our members will be sharing about his experiences as an exchange student in our sister city of Zamberk in the Czech Republic. The presentation begins at 3:30. Hope to see you there!
