Yearbook is collecting photo submissions for its photo contest, but hurry, the deadline is TODAY Friday, March 22nd!  Send us your landscapes, vacation pix, animals, friends, or other creative pix. Winner gets a free yearbook! We will also are accepting any cute pix of you and your friends, sporting and club events, prom, etc. Just email to Mr. Panasuk by today March 22nd!

Deutsch’s Gymnastics would like to congratulate these talented athletes on qualifying for the USA Gymnastics State meet this weekend in Milwaukee.  Level 7 freshman - Jocelyn Vavra, Level 8 freshman Anna Leamy and Level 9 Senior Isabel Crotteau. Good Luck Ladies!

The Warrior Track and Field Team has had a great start to their Indoor Season.  On Tuesday night, the girls JV squad won the Ashland Indoor Invite and the Varsity team was 5th out of 10 teams. Top performers were Trinity Roberts who won the 200M Hurdles, Anna Penzkover who was 2nd in both the 800M run and 1600m run, and Jasmine Mlejnek who placed 2nd in the High Jump.

Last night the team competed in the UW-Eau Claire Freshman/Sophomore Invite.  The girls finished 5th out of 11 teams and the boys finished in 3rd place.

Leading the girls were Trinity Roberts who won the 55M Hurdles, Racheal Rohde who finished 2nd in the 55M Dash & 3rd in the 200m relay as well as the 4x200m relay team consisting of Justine Berg, Racheal Rohde, Megan Richter, and Trinity Roberts.

Leading the boys in points was Derek Penzkover who won the mile and 800. Other highlights,  Kyle Kringle tied for first in the Pole Vault clearing 8 feet in his 2nd meet and Scott Kinnick placed 2nd in the shot put. It was a great start for some of our newer athletes.  The varsity team will be competing again Saturday in Menomonee at the Northern Badger Invite.


Junior Girls: Applications are available in Student Services for the Fortnightly Club of Rice Lake. Stop in and pick up the application and information from Mrs. Hansen.

Students: The Americanism and Government Scholarship test is one of many Wisconsin American Legion programs that offer scholarship opportunities to students. This opportunity is open to students in grades 10-12. Stop in student services to find more information.

Attention Warrior athletes:  If you did not attend the homeroom meeting on Monday to receive the winter season coaches feedback form, PLEASE stop down to the Athletic Office ASAP to pick up the form and check your name off the list.  These forms can be returned to the wire basket by Mrs. Nanstad or turned in to Mr. Lipke. Your help in making our athletic programs the best they can be is greatly appreciated. GO WARRIORS!!
