Prom will be held on Saturday, May 15 at Mommsen’s Harvest Hills beginning at 8:00 p.m. Juniors and Seniors from Rice Lake High School are able to purchase Prom tickets now. The cost is $10 each and tickets are on sale until noon on Friday, May 14. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are on sale in the main office.
Tryouts for the Warriorette’s dance team are coming up! They will be held Tuesday, May 4th and Thursday, May 6th in the Ole Gym starting at 4pm. No previous dance experience is required! If you love to dance or want to learn, come try out. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Boehnlein or Mrs. Dussl.
Congratulations to the Warriors Track & Field Team for their strong performance at their season opener at the Menomonie Mustang Open last Friday.
For the girls: Trinity Roberts won both the 100 meter hurdles and the triple jump and finished 3rd in the 300 meter hurdles.
Isabelle Schmidt won both the shot put and the discus.
Eli Sheplee won the 100 meter dash and the 300 meter hurdles & placed 2nd in the 200 meter dash. Tegwen Romportl finished 2nd in the triple jump
Taylor Schulz finished 2nd in the discus and 3rd in the shot put
Grace Knauff finished 3rd in the 400 meter dash
and the girls 4x100 m relay consisting of Taylor Schulz, Kami Klemme, Sydney Gay, & Isabelle Schmidt and the 4x200 m relay consisting of Sophia Knauff, Justine Berg, Ellie Pacholke, and Trinity Roberts both finished in 1st place.
The boys team had a solid first meet on Friday. Many personal bests were set; including two standout performances from Derek Penzkover setting a new personal best in the 2 mile by cutting over 20 seconds with a time of 10:33.34 ; and Kyle Kringle soaring up to a new personal record of 9' 06" in the Pole Vault.
Up next for the Warriors will be the Rice Lake JV Invitational tomorrow and Varsity Invite on Friday.
